SEASCOOTER™ DOLPHIN can run at a speed of
2mph/3kph at a depth of up to 20m/65ft and has built in buoyancy regulation
for maximum comfort.
Engineered by Sir Clive Sinclair, the
inventor of the first PC, the environmentally friendly SEA-DOO® SEASCOOTER™
is powered by a battery that lasts 1 hour and that can be recharged
overnight with the supplied charger.
SEASCOOTER™ DOLPHIN 's sleek, compact
design combined with its own bag makes it easy to carry and features an
automatic cut off, when it is released or encounters an obstruction, plus a
protective grille for maximum safety

For snorkelling it is usual to have
about 2 lbs buoyancy. For diving it is usual to have about 5 oz buoyancy
(150grammes).
In both cases the SEASCOOTER™ DOLPHIN will rise to surface of the water
if accidentally released at depth.
Maximum buoyancy is normally used for children and infirm / disabled
swimmers. |

Master switch: |
It is used to disable the normal
on/off trigger. When the master switch is in the off position the
SEASCOOTER™ DOLPHIN can be handled without fear of accidentally
knocking the main trigger into the on position. |

Trigger: |
It is a finger activated lever
which acts as a "Safety Trigger". The trigger has a soft-start
feature that starts the propeller slowly for a moment before ramping
up to full speed. As soon as the trigger is released power is
immediately cut and the propeller stops. |

on at all times and be removed for Maintenance ONLY. |

Obstruction sensor: |
It is fitted to the
SEASCOOTER™ DOLPHIN to protect the user and the motor. If the unit
suddenly loses power, remove the SEASCOOTER™ DOLPHIN from the water,
switch it off at the master switch, remove the battery and then
remove any obstruction from the propeller. If no obstruction is
found then let the SEASCOOTER™ DOLPHIN cool down for twenty minutes
before reusing. If the power is still off then check that the
battery terminals are still in position. |
